Curiosity as a Superpower:
The Joy of Experimenting with Life
Hello & welcome to another story of a Cup of Coffee for your Soul
I’ve always had a thing for experimentation in my life.
Small tests, little tweaks here and there, just to see what happens.
Whether it’s exploring something health-related, dabbling in biohacking, or trying a new sport, I love the idea of gathering new insights.
Sometimes, the experiment is as simple as not checking my phone in the first few hours after waking up—just to see how that affects my day.
It might sound trivial, but I think it’s crucial to stay open to new things.
Life can get heavy, and we often get stuck in routines, but keeping that curiosity alive helps me stay grounded.
It keeps me from getting too judgy about the world around me, and I think that’s important.
Of course, there are times when I start an experiment, only to stop after a while, and then I’m left wondering: Is it me? Or is this just not for me?
Am I being lazy? Not consistent enough?
These questions pop up, but then I remind myself: that’s all part of the process.
Some experiments work, some don’t. And that’s okay. There’s just so much to see, feel, and learn in this world—it makes life more exciting and less serious.
For a time, I said yes to everything.
Every invitation, every social event, I’d dive right in. It made me a more open version of myself, but at the same time, I lost a lot of time for myself.
However, it wasn’t the social events that led me to start writing online.
That all started when I stumbled upon a YouTube video about content creation.
From there, one thing led to another, and suddenly I was writing newsletters, creating content, and engaging with people on social media.
I’ve met incredible people on Twitter, learned so much, and discovered parts of myself I never would have otherwise.
So, for me, being an avid learner and experimenter is key.
Life is full of possibilities, and as long as we stay open, we get to keep discovering new things. Who knows where the next experiment will take me?
